AuraType / 指尖声动AI

Privacy Policy

This Policy is issued by Beijing Zhijian Zhuoyue Technology Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") and explains how AuraType collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when providing the AI voice keyboard, voice dictation, text cleanup, translation, dictionary, history, and account services.

Updated: August 10, 2026 Effective: August 10, 2026 Scope: domestic Android, Google Play, HarmonyOS, iOS, and related services

1. Summary

We try to process only the information necessary to provide core features. This summary helps you quickly understand the Policy; the full text controls.

Audio is used only for the current recognition task When you use voice dictation or translation, audio snippets are sent to the server and speech recognition service for processing. We do not store audio files.
Text is used to generate results Raw transcripts, final text, rewriting style, language, and processing time are used to generate history, display results, and measure service quality.
You can delete data You can delete individual history items, clear all history, log out, or delete your account. After account deletion, account identity and related data will be deleted or anonymized.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to AuraType, operated by Beijing Zhijian Zhuoyue Technology Co., Ltd., including domestic Android distributions, the Google Play Android app and input method, the HarmonyOS main app and system input method, the iOS main app and keyboard extension, and the servers that provide account, speech recognition, text cleanup, translation, dictionary, history, feedback, and analytics capabilities to those clients.

Only capabilities applicable to the current distribution are enabled. For example, Google sign-in is available only in the Google Play distribution, while Huawei account and in-app purchase capabilities apply only to HarmonyOS distributions where those capabilities are configured and enabled. Listing a feature in this Policy does not cause a distribution that does not offer that feature to collect the related information.

Third-party apps, websites, or services have their own privacy policies. When you use the AuraType keyboard in another app, that app's processing of its own data is not covered by this Policy.

3. Information We Collect

Account information When you use guest mode, we generate a user identifier and record an installation or device identifier and device name. When you use email login, we collect your email address and store only a secure hash of your password, not the plaintext password. Depending on the distribution, you may also choose Apple, Google, or Huawei account sign-in. We process the identity token, authorization code, account subject identifier, and other necessary account information provided by that platform under your authorization for server-side verification and account binding.
Device and session information This includes a device- or installation-generated deviceId or installId, platform, device model or name, system version, app version, language and region, distribution channel, network type/IP, login status, access token, refresh token hash, creation time, last-used time, request time, and error codes. We use this information for login, security verification, device binding, channel identification, service measurement, and troubleshooting.
Voice and text content When you actively start voice dictation, translation, text cleanup, or clipboard rewriting, we process the audio snippet or source text needed for that task, raw transcript, final text, input mode, rewriting style, source language, target language, recognition duration, and processing time. Except for tasks that you actively trigger, we do not continuously read your input fields or clipboard.
User dictionary When you add proper nouns or common terms, we store the term content and creation time to improve speech recognition and text cleanup accuracy.
History and local statistics Android stores completed history in an app-private Room database. HarmonyOS stores history in a DataGroup database accessible to the same-signed main app and input method. iOS stores and displays history according to its app features. The server may also create account-linked processing records when completing voice or text tasks for history synchronization, result recovery, and support. Clients may record aggregate statistics such as dictation duration, word count, time saved, and average speed.
Analytics and diagnostic data After the applicable consent is obtained, Android and HarmonyOS clients use our bounded first-party event queues to process non-content fields such as event name, platform, channel, feature mode, result status, and duration bucket. Event metadata does not contain voice, transcript text, final text, clipboard contents, dictionary terms, email, passwords, or tokens. The iOS main app also integrates the Umeng mobile analytics SDK, which may process authorized device identifiers, device model, system and app versions, channel, network type/IP, launches, activity, usage duration, and basic diagnostics.
Notification status On distributions that support notifications, and after you grant permission, we may send notifications related to feature status, service prompts, or product updates. You can disable them at any time in the applicable system settings.
Feedback and support information When you submit feedback or contact support, we process the category and content you provide, submission source, app version, device model, processing status, support reply, and related timestamps to investigate the issue, respond, and improve the service. Please do not submit sensitive information unrelated to the issue.
Purchase and subscription information If a distribution offers paid features and you make a purchase, the applicable app store or payment service processes your store account and payment information. We may receive an order number, product identifier, purchase token or signed transaction credential, subscription status, purchase time, and expiration time to verify and restore entitlements, process refunds, and prevent fraud. We do not directly collect complete payment card numbers.

4. How We Use Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • Provide guest and email login, together with Apple, Google, or Huawei account sign-in where supported by the current distribution, as well as logout, token refresh, device binding, and account deletion.
  • Complete voice dictation, speech-to-text, AI text cleanup, multi-style rewriting, and translation.
  • Return generated results to the keyboard and insert them into the current input field when you use the AuraType keyboard.
  • Display and manage history, including deleting individual history items and clearing all history.
  • Maintain the custom dictionary to improve recognition and cleanup accuracy for proper nouns and common terms.
  • Measure service success rate, processing time, error types, and feature usage to improve stability and experience.
  • Protect account, server API, and system security and prevent abuse, attacks, or abnormal requests.

We do not use your voice, transcript text, final text, or account information for cross-app or cross-site advertising tracking.

5. System Permissions

Microphone permission

AuraType requires microphone permission to provide voice input, speech recognition, and translation. We collect audio only when you actively start a voice task in the Android app or input method, HarmonyOS main app or input method, or the iOS app or keyboard. Capture resources are released after you stop, cancel, or time out the task. You can disable microphone permission at any time in the applicable system settings.

Full keyboard access

iOS requires third-party keyboards to enable full access before the keyboard can use network capabilities and coordinate with the main app for speech recognition, AI rewriting, and translation. After it is enabled, we upload only the content necessary to complete the task when you actively use the relevant features.

Android input method and local storage

Android requires you to enable the AuraType input method in system settings. The app and input method run under the same application identity and use an app-private database, preferences, and Android Keystore to store history, non-sensitive settings, and encrypted session data. Enabling the input method does not cause us to continuously read what you type in other apps.

HarmonyOS full input mode and DataGroup

HarmonyOS basic mode provides only local English and full Pinyin input and does not initiate network, microphone, or clipboard requests. After system authorization, full mode can initiate voice, translation, or rewriting requests that you explicitly trigger. Login state, non-sensitive settings, aggregate statistics, and local history are shared between the main app and input method through a DataGroup under the same developer signature; refresh tokens remain in the main app's secure asset storage.

One-time clipboard access

Android, HarmonyOS, or iOS reads the current clipboard text only after you select an explicit action such as "Rewrite Clipboard." We do not continuously monitor the clipboard in the background or include clipboard contents in analytics events.

Notification permission

Notification permission is used to send feature status, service reminders, or product updates. Disabling notifications does not affect basic keyboard input.

6. Third-Party Processing and Sharing

To provide speech recognition, AI text cleanup, and translation, we send the audio snippets, transcript text, target language, rewriting style, and related technical parameters necessary for the task to third-party model or cloud services. The services currently used by the project include Alibaba Cloud Bailian, Alibaba Cloud real-time speech recognition, and related model services.

Before you first use the relevant features, the app explains the data types, recipients, and purposes in the interface, and cloud AI processing begins only after your consent. If you do not consent, voice recognition, text cleanup, and translation features that rely on cloud AI will not be available.

To measure app launches, activity, version, channel, and usage duration, the iOS main app integrates the Umeng mobile analytics SDK provided by Umeng Tongxin (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (Umeng+). The SDK may process device identifiers such as IDFA if authorized, IDFV, OpenUDID, and GUID, device model, system version, app version, channel, network type/IP, launch/activity/usage duration, and basic diagnostics for analytics, stability improvement, report calibration, and basic anti-abuse. We do not send your voice, transcript text, final text, dictionary content, or account password to Umeng. The SDK is initialized only after you consent to the privacy flow. Umeng's privacy policy is available at https://www.umeng.com/page/policy.

Android and HarmonyOS clients use our minimized first-party event queues. After the applicable consent is obtained, clients upload only non-content fields such as event name, platform, channel, mode, style, result status, and duration bucket. Client and server controls prevent input text, voice transcripts, final text, clipboard contents, dictionary terms, email, passwords, tokens, authorization headers, API keys, payment payloads, and purchase tokens from entering analytics metadata.

When you actively choose Google sign-in, the Google Play distribution uses Android Credential Manager, Google ID services, and Google Play services to obtain a Google ID token, which our server verifies with Google before binding the account. The Google Play distribution may also invoke the Google Play in-app review interface after you trigger it or when product conditions are met. Google processes platform account, device, and service interaction information under its policies. The domestic Android distribution does not integrate these Google distribution capabilities.

HarmonyOS uses Account Kit for Huawei account sign-in and, once configured, IAP Kit for subscription purchase and restoration. Huawei processes authorization identity or transaction data under its platform rules. Our server receives only the data needed to bind the account or verify the purchase. The product page will provide the applicable explanation before a capability is enabled.

Third-party services should process relevant data only within the scope of the recognition, cleanup, translation, and security purposes entrusted by us. We do not sell your personal information to advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not share your information for advertising tracking purposes.

If we add new third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising services, or cross-border processing methods in the future, we will update the explanation in the app or on this page and obtain your consent when required by law.

7. Retention and Deletion

  • Audio: audio snippets are used only for the current recognition processing. We do not store audio files or audio binary data.
  • History and processed text: Android local history is stored in an app-private Room database, HarmonyOS local history is stored in a DataGroup database, and iOS stores history according to its app features. Server-side processing records remain linked to the account. You may delete an individual history item, clear history, delete your account, or contact us to request deletion. User text in deleted records is deleted or de-identified, while content-free metrics needed for analytics and security may be retained.
  • Account: account, device, token hash, and login status information are stored while the account exists for authentication and security management.
  • Dictionary: terms you add are saved under your account until you delete the term or delete the account.
  • Feedback: feedback content and support replies are retained while we handle the issue and maintain necessary service records. You may contact us to request deletion.
  • Transactions: records required by law or needed for refunds, reconciliation, tax, and dispute handling are retained under applicable law and platform rules.
  • Deletion: logging out removes the encrypted session from the device and clears local account data as supported by the client. After account deletion, we deactivate the account, revoke tokens, and delete or anonymize the account identity, device bindings, and related data that can still identify you, except data that the law requires us to retain or that has already been irreversibly anonymized.

8. Security

We take reasonable security measures to protect your information, including access control, transmission encryption, password hashing, refresh token hashing, server-side key isolation, and minimized logging. The server does not intentionally print complete user text in business logs.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident may affect your rights and interests, we will notify you of the incident, possible impact, and remedial measures in a reasonable manner according to applicable laws and regulations.

9. Your Rights

Depending on applicable laws and in-app features, you may exercise the following rights:

  • Access and view your history, account type, dictionary content, and local statistics.
  • Correct or delete your dictionary terms.
  • Delete individual history items or clear all history.
  • Manage or withdraw microphone, notification, clipboard, or input method permissions and settings on Android, HarmonyOS, or iOS; iOS users may also disable full keyboard access.
  • Log out or delete your account.
  • Ask us to explain, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information.

Please note that the corresponding features may no longer work after you withdraw necessary permissions. For example, voice dictation is unavailable after microphone permission is disabled, and keyboard capabilities are limited after iOS full keyboard access is disabled, the Android input method is disabled, or HarmonyOS is switched to basic input mode.

10. Protection of Minors

AuraType is mainly intended for users who can independently understand and use it. Minors should obtain consent and guidance from parents or other guardians before using the service. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 14. If a guardian believes that a minor has provided personal information to us without consent, please contact shouyouzhijia@outlook.com.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy based on product features, service providers, laws and regulations, or review requirements. Material changes include significant changes to personal information processing purposes, processing types, sharing recipients, retention periods, or ways to exercise user rights. After updates, we will indicate the updated date on this page and, when necessary, notify you through in-app prompts, system notifications, or other reasonable methods.
